M.Sc. Marcel Rojahn

Research Associate

M.Sc. Marcel Rojahn is currently working on his doctorate in the field of digital platforms in the context of the Industrial Internet of Things. A key research objective is the improvement of adaptable IIoT platforms. The aim is to model a reference architecture for the introduction of digitalization systems. In addition, Mr. Rojahn deals with aspects of business process modelling and Industry 4.0.

Career

M.Sc. Marcel Rojahn studied economics at the Friedrich-Alexander-University, Erlangen-Nuremberg with a focus on business informatics and business informatics at the University of Potsdam. During his studies, Mr. Rojahn gained professional experience at international IT and management consulting companies (e.g. Siemens and Accenture). Mr. Rojahn is currently working as a Research Associate at the Chair of Information Systems, in particular Processes and Systems at the University of Potsdam. His tasks include the acquisition and implementation of several BMBF and SME third-party funded projects as project manager with personnel responsibility, the preparation of international scientific publications and the preparation and implementation of courses and exercises.
