Background:AR technologies offer many possibilities, including working and learning in an industrial context through context-specific information and visualization of procedural knowledge. To benefit from these advantages, AR technologies and the information displayed, for example, through AR glasses (HoloLens), must be properly designed. The goal is not only to present individual task instructions but to enrich them with didactic elements to promote holistic learning and working in the industrial context.
Your Tasks:Conceptualize and program didactic elements (virtual tutors, ChatGPT) on the HoloLens, as well as conduct an empirical evaluation of various elements.
This thesis is part of the Prototype Track. Further information on the creation process can be found in the guidelines for thesis preparation at LSWI.
Your Benefits:The opportunity to actively participate in the department's research projects and to publish your results. The possibility for personal development in an inspiring research environment and the active shaping of current research topics of high scientific relevance. The topic is also characterized by an above-average level of practical relevance.
